Pretty Horses that Perform!

Quickstad Quarter Horses is located near Sturgis, South Dakota in the northern Black Hills, just west of majestic Bear Butte. The historic Bismarck to Deadwood stage route crosses the northern edge of the ranch where you can still see the well worn wheel ruts.

By raising "pretty horses that perform", the Quickstad's versatile horses first proved themselves when their 1980 foal, Impressive Quest, won the North Dakota State Fair, North Dakota High Point Halter colt and later went on to win the state heading and healing title and compete at the National Finals Rodeo.
